My Story

Merlyn’s training and development career began at T. Rowe Price in 1998 and has worked for nonprofit organizations as well as corporate financial organizations where she coached, mentored and trained colleagues.

My mantra is “Creating impact through leadership development and personal growth.”

Merlyn has a background in corporate training and development, Project Leadership and Customer Services. The key is- to have a growth plan and set SMART goals and work towards achieving those goals. She believes the key to success are the following four Cs; Consistency, Commitment, Communication and Connecting.

As a seasoned training professional, Merlyn felt that her leadership and coaching skills were not fully utilized and as a result, she made the decision to start her own leadership development company. She started MAC Leadership Solutions, LLC, out of the need to add value to and impact others by helping small and mid-size businesses tap into their employees’ potential. At MAC Leadership Solutions, LLC we conduct assessments, speak, train and coach.

Each life is valuable, and we were created to live a life of purpose and significance, to effect positive influence and be a blessing to those we interact with.

Merlyn enjoys being a member of Toastmasters International and is the co-sponsor of a community toastmasters club in Owings Mills, Maryland. She enjoys writing and presenting speeches as well as connecting with toastmasters of various clubs. She is a member of Longview Bible Church and enjoys spending time with her friends and family, which includes her daughter Camryn and grandson Zayn.

Merlyn Clarke is a Certified Behavioral Analyst/Speaker/Trainer/Teacher/Coach. She is a Small Business Leadership Consultant and Founder/CEO of MAC Leadership Solutions LLC.

Merlyn comes to you with more than 30 years of business experience, including 10 years as a corporate training professional. Her mission is to help grow your business by developing your employees, who are your most important resources. She believes in creating a fun learning environment for building awareness and growth.

As a certified trainer, coach, and speaker of Maxwell Leadership, she is committed to helping businesses add value to their employees and improve performance and productivity. Merlyn and her team will help create a desire for motivation and self-improvement to increase productivity and results in your organization. Merlyn has been a member of Toastmasters International since 2017. She has served as club president, VP of Education as well as club mentor. She is the co-organizer of the Owings Mills Community Toastmasters Club and was recently appointed area director. As area director, she supervises the activities of several clubs in the assigned area. She is a volunteer facilitator for Change Your World organization and is a member of Longview Bible Church and enjoys spending time with her friends and family, which includes her daughter Camryn and grandson Zayn.
